All bodies are good bodies
If I was to ask you ‘How much does your body weight and shape influence how you feel about your body?’ What would your answer be?
Or ‘Do you believe your relationship with your body is more on the negative side…or more positive?’ What would you say?
When it comes to body image issues, the struggle for many is real.
The feeling of low self-confidence and insecurity, feeling judged, not fitting clothes, comparing ourselves to others and the pressure to live up to society’s standard of flawless body and appearance perfection can be crippling.
The truth is,it doesn’t have to be this way.
We all have the power to ‘learn from’ everything we have been taught about diet culture, our bodies and food and we can choose to ‘REJECT’ this way of being…
Then we create space to re-learn to feel comfortable and confident in our own skin.
ALL bodies regardless of gender, age, size, shape, colour, composition, ability, are GOOD bodies.
It’s time to take back our bodies, and all of their beautiful natural human features, and accept and appreciate our bodies for what they are – a precious formation that give us life.
